Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Inventurtle ("we", "us") governing your use of the Inventurtle iOS app and its backing service (together, the "Service"). This document is the End User License Agreement (EULA) for the Service and replaces Apple's standard EULA. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service, and you must be at least 13 years old. You sign in using Sign in with Apple; you're responsible for maintaining the security of the device and Apple ID used to access your account.

Your content

You own the photos and inventory data you create in the App ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Your Content back to you (and to anyone you explicitly invite into a shared house) solely to provide the Service, including sending your shelf photos to our AI vision provider to identify items on them. We don't use Your Content to train our own models or license it to third parties for their own use. You're responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the right to share it — for example, not photographing other people without their consent and not uploading unlawful content.

Item identification is performed by an AI model and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Review and confirm what the Service proposes before relying on it — Inventurtle is a convenience tool for keeping track of your belongings, not a certified record for insurance, legal, or other official purposes.

Sharing

You can invite other people to a house you own. Anyone who accepts your invite link gets access to view and edit that house's contents. You're responsible for choosing who you invite.

Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to store or share unlawful content, attempt to disrupt or overload the Service, reverse engineer it beyond what applicable law allows, or access accounts or data that aren't yours.

Inventurtle Premium (auto-renewing subscription)

The Service offers an optional auto-renewing subscription, Inventurtle Premium, which raises the free tier's limits on houses, rooms, and cabinets and unlocks house sharing.

• Length: Inventurtle Premium renews automatically every 1 year unless cancelled.
• Price: shown in the App at the time of purchase and charged in your local currency through your Apple ID account.
• Free trial: new subscribers may be offered a 7-day free trial. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Payment and renewal: payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price you agreed to.
• Managing or cancelling: manage or cancel your subscription any time in your device's Settings app → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting your Inventurtle account (see Delete Account) does not cancel an active Apple subscription — cancel it separately through your Apple ID to stop future billing.
• Refunds: all purchases are billed by Apple and subject to Apple's refund policies, not ours.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-identified items will be accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates these Terms.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time; the effective date above will reflect the latest version. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
